Bridgecrest Needs a Senior Analyst, Loan Servicing Analytics

That’s Nice, But What’s the Job?

In short, as the Senior Analyst, Loan Servicing Analytics you will be responsible for enabling the Servicing Strategy and Analytics Team in expanding its hardship tools related, but not limited to, extensions, loan re-writes, temporary reduction in payment plans, and other loan modifications.

In long, the Senior Analyst, Loan Servicing Analytics is responsible for:

  • Owning and perfecting overall hardship strategy for Bridgecrest’s growing $15 billion auto portfolio
  • Responsible for building and maintaining forecasting models used to predict future cash flows dependent on hardship decision
  • Required to work with other departments to gather and present information related to hardship tools and the impact on portfolio performance.
  • Constructing in-depth quantitative analysis by processing, manipulating, and studying large datasets by leveraging strong SQL, Snowflake and Excel skills.
  • Work with IT on developing long term solutions for forecasting models
  • Ad-hoc analysis as required on information related to the performance of the business.
  • Working primarily independently and leading projects within the Servicing Strategy and Analytics department.

The Specifics.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as economics, finance, statistics, engineering, or hard science.
  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics and/or predictive modelling.
  • Experience with financial modeling predicting cash flows at loan level preferred.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, collaborative teamwork, intellectual horsepower, curiosity, initiative, and attention to detail.
  • Strong statistical skills and experience focused on business decision making and problem solving.
  • Experienced project manager able to lead multiple engagements simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated skill and extensive experience developing quantitative analysis Excel.
  • Ambition to learn coding languages such as SQL, R, or Python.
  • Ability to simplify and communicate analytical concepts and findings to executive, operational, and technical audiences with appropriate levels of detail and emphasis.
