Bridgecrest needs a Project Management Director

At DriveTime, we do more than just sell used cars, we also finance them through our very own company Bridgecrest. Bridgecrest is one of the country’s leading financial services providers that services roughly $15 billion in finance receivables for DriveTime and other third parties. We service auto loans across a wide credit spectrum with the intent of creating a strong path to vehicle ownership for its customers.

That’s nice, but what’s the job?

We believe Project Management is central to our ability to be the best-in-class servicing organization that provides ‘Peace of Mind’ and ‘Agility in Innovation’ to all the stakeholders. We are building our own Project Management Practice incorporating both industry standards and the nuances and strengths of our organization. We are looking for a Project Management Director that can build the Project Management foundation and implement routines for our organization.

In long, as a Project Management Director you will:

  • Mature our Organizational processes - Strategic initiatives, Events and Issues

  • Establish project management practices to a cross- functional team

  • Train, mentor, and hold accountable all key players in Organization to get better at project management and managing the organizational processes

  • Manage the top of funnel and ensure that work is balanced and prioritized across the key players in Servicing

  • Lead and coach other project managers in Servicing to deliver successful projects

  • Build out a de-centralized PMO in Clickup, our workflow software

  • Create management views, alerts for all users, automation and validation rules in Clickup

So, what kind of people are we looking for?

  • Excellent people influencing skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and initiatives in a fast-paced culture

  • Portfolio Mgmt. experience in managing multiple large projects where duties included:

  • Assigned new projects to right owners, responsible performers

  • Triaged and identified/ recommended the highest impact projects to be prioritized next

  • Built a resource utilization view and used it to allocate work to available resources

  • Built views to manage the status, risks, due date slippage, etc. and created automated mechanism by which these escalations were raised to the right parties as alerts

  • Able to easily build a presence and present to Senior Leaders

  • Clickup Experience is a plus

  • Built organizational processes using click up using automation and learning new functionality

The Specifics:

  • 5+ years experience in project management; financial services experience is a plus

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

  • PMP Certification strongly preferred, Six Sigma a plus

  • Understanding of Servicing and Collections policies as it relates to Financial Services
