DriveTime Needs a Product Manager

That’s Nice, But What’s the Job?

In short, as a Product Manager for Bridgecrest Digital group at DriveTime, you will be responsible for enabling our Vision to be a Digital First Experience provider. In this role you will create, enhance, experiment and optimize our digital marketplace and digital communication platforms. You’ll be responsible for prioritization, communication, feature definition and regular agile rituals required to give our customers a state-of-the-art Digital experience. You will own and drive the strategic digital agenda by partnering with a wide variety of business, technology and design stakeholders to achieve our goals in an organized and timely manner.

In long, our Product Managers will:

  • Partner with stakeholders and development team to define features and write stories

  • Work with tech leads to identify and design solutions and clearly define and articulate acceptance criteria

  • Obsess over customer experience while understanding timelines and the value of continuous iteration

  • Use quantitative and qualitative data to make decisions

  • Define and continuously refine a roadmap tied to organizational strategy, including milestones and phases

  • Manage backlog of features and iterative improvements

  • Organize and collect business requirements

  • Work with stakeholders and tech leads to ensure features and stories are continuously groomed and ready for intake

  • Ensure business value and scope is clearly defined

  • Serve as a gatekeeper for requirements and product releases

  • Obtain consensus on project scope through conversations with business stakeholders and tech leads

  • Look for scope opportunities and adjust timelines and targets as needed

  • Provide frequent communication to leadership and stakeholders on progress

  • Ensure stories meet acceptance criteria before deployment

  • Serve as a point of contact for initiatives involving multiple units to ensure efficient cross-team coordination

  • Conduct demos with stakeholders

  • Hold postmortems (retros) to evaluate lessons learned

The Specifics

  • Bachelor’s degree required - bachelor’s degree in business, quantitative degrees or MBA preferred

  • 2+ years of Product Analyst or relevant experience in a fast-paced business environment

  • High-level knowledge of various product management methodologies (i.e., agile/scrum)

  • Experience in capturing and articulating business value and acceptance criteria to agile development teams

  • Experience using Microsoft product suite: Word, Excel, Visio, Project (Or other various product management tools such as monday.com or Jira)

  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders

  • Experience working in a regulated industry a plus!
