Job Summary:

The Lease Administrator supports leasing activities across all markets for Verde Outdoor Media.  The Lease Administrator is responsible for understanding lease details, amendments, and other lease documents, including all critical dates, terms, and financial requirements.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Acts as liaison with legal, landlords, and market personnel to manage and support leasing activities across all markets for Verde Outdoor Media.

  • Reviews and updates lease files and records. Maintains all lease files and records with optimum accuracy and completeness.

  • Processes, reviews and maintains lease agreements, amendments and renewals. Ensures all related documents are accurate, complete and compliant with company policies and legal requirements.

  • Analyzes lease terms, financial data and performance metrics.

  • Fields questions, inquiries, complaints, etc., from landowners and partners with internal departments local to the market to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.

  • Assists with preparation, presentation, and negotiation of agreements with landowners.

  • Assists in the monitoring, tracking, and general preparation of monthly and/or annual percentage/overage payments and applicable CPI adjustments for manager review and approval.

  • Analyzes and prepares accounting and financial inventory/asset reports.

  • Assists with lease renewals, creation of new leases, processing of lease payments, and property tax payments and permit fees.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent work experience will also be considered).

  • 3-4 years of experience in lease administration, property management, legal, or related field.  

  • Knowledge of real estate principles and practices.

  • Knowledge of the media and advertising industry preferred.
