That’s Nice, But What’s the Job?
In short, as a FP&A Analyst you will be assisting in the Company’s financial quarterly forecast, annual budgeting process, operating plan variance analysis and special projects. You will provide financial consulting and strategic support to senior management including preparing board presentations, financial presentations, capital expenditure analysis, industry/peer group comparisons, new business opportunities, acquisition analysis and other projects requested by senior management.
In long, our FP&A Analyst are responsible for:
- Analyzing current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures
- Monitoring performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
- Overseeing and managing the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modeling tools
- Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis
- Quarterly and Monthly Financial reports
- Implementing and working with a Business Intelligence Tool and Dashboard reports
- Improving performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies and understand ROI
- Developing financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
- Analyzing complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes
- Supporting Senior Management Team and Departments heads with in-depth analysis
- Preparing presentations to Board of Directors and Senior Management Team

- Works well in a time crunch. There will be multiple time sensitive requirements and you’ll need the ability to meet deliverable due dates.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis is preferred.
- CPA or CFA license is a plus.
- Demonstrated in-depth understanding of business and cost drivers, financial statement analysis and forecasting, and deep-dive analysis
- Experience communicating results to business leaders.
- Advanced Excel skills required.
