That’s Nice, But What’s the Job?

In short, as the Assistant Director, Marketing Data Analytics you will be crucial to our growing, high-performing team. You will partner with leaders across the organization, including Data Science and Business Intelligence, to drive optimal outcomes. You will lead the enhancement of our cutting-edge media optimization ecosystem, leveraging trillions of data points to maximize ROAS.

In long, the Assistant Director is responsible for:

  • Lead the development of the TV analytics team, setting strategic direction and overseeing its growth and performance. This includes modeling enhancements and mentoring junior analysts

  • Take our TV performance model to the next level

    • Expert in logistic regression

    • Ability to partner with data science for even more advanced approaches

    • Iterate and automate

  • Drive performance and execution by building media plans and leading the relationship with our media agency.

  • Present data findings and strategic recommendations to stakeholders, including company executives.

  • Manage and analyze large volumes of marketing data to derive actionable insights.

  • Prototype data integration from various sources using APIs. Ensure data quality and integrity across all data sources.

  • Conduct complex statistical analyses, including A/B and multifactorial tests.

  • Build proof-of-concept data ecosystems to demonstrate the feasibility and value of data initiatives.

  • Work collaboratively with other marketing team members (e.g. Paid Search, Conversion) to implement data-driven strategies. Contribute to the growth and performance of the team by leveraging data to drive business decisions.

  • Maintain and develop the company's media optimization platform.

So What Kind of Folks Are We Looking for?

  • Data Analysis: Data-heavy role, proficiency in collecting, organizing, and interpreting statistical information. Experience in marketing analytics preferred.

  • Statistical Modeling: Knowledge of statistical models and their application to real-world marketing problems.

  • SQL Proficiency: Experience with Snowflake for data storage and analysis.

  • Data Integration: Ability to blend and integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring data consistency and integrity.

  • Hypothesis Testing: Knowledge of statistical hypothesis testing, including A/B testing and multifactorial tests.

  • Data Visualization, Summarization, and Presentation: Ability to summarize complex data findings and to present them clearly to stakeholders.

  • Proof-of-Concept Development: Experience building proof-of-concept data ecosystems to demonstrate the feasibility and value of data initiatives.

  • Advanced Analytics: Experience with predictive modeling, machine learning, and other advanced analytics techniques.

  • Communication: Strong presentation skills to communicate complex data findings effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

The Specifics.

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience

  • 5+ yeas in an analytics, marketing, strategy, or consulting role

  • Prior experience managing and developing analysts

  • Proficient in SQL, Snowflake, Microsoft Excel and Tableau
