As an IT manager and seasoned self-help geek, I’m intensely curious about what engages people, what makes work fulfilling and how teams can achieve their full potential. DriveTime’s high performance culture is a perfect outlet for that curiosity. Every day I get to work with intelligent and talented personalities that challenge me as a manager and humble me as a person. I think what attracts those types of people to DriveTime is the chance to work on cutting-edge projects that push the automotive industry forward while being valued for who they are.

Luckily, Arizona has a lot to offer outside work as well. I generally gravitate towards Phoenix’s vibrant Latin dance community or the world class mountain bike trails of Sedona. As a former professional musician I also get my fill of live music at local venues and festivals. Additionally, as an equities day trader, Phoenix’s time zone makes it possible to trade in the morning before local working hours while the US stock exchanges are open.

I enjoy the people I have met and work with at Drivetime. At Drivetime, you are constantly challenged to grow both personally and professionally. I like the diversity and the daily challenge of thinking about “why” and “how” we do things while being empowered to innovate and try new things. I like that the company moves quickly and allows us to learn as we go instead of overthinking change which can slow down movement. This can be challenging but creates a constant learning environment that I enjoy.

Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my daughter. She keeps me busy either as a spectator at one of her many basketball games or talking me into climbing 60-80 feet in the trees to complete random obstacle courses. I enjoy trying new things and have gone parasailing, white river rafting, skydiving, snorkeling, tubing, motorcycle riding and zip lining to name a few. I quickly bore of the things you can do every day and like to add a few adventures to life.

I like the culture of family and comradery most while working here at DriveTime. I like the fact that every day I come to work even though we are doing the same thing the way that we do it could change from week to week and sometimes day to day. I like the fact that you can really be rewarded by your work and opportunities will come who “do their job.”

In my free time I like riding motorcycle with my wife on charity rides, fishing, golf and attending any U.C.F (University of Central Florida ) Knights sporting events!

DriveTime is honestly the best job I have ever had. Everyone here is treated like family, it's the best place to work if you enjoy a fun entertaining atmosphere. My position here at DriveTime is awesome. I get to do something that I love. To me DriveTime isn't just a job, I plan on it being my career.

I enjoy outdoor activities, me and my family love to go fishing and camping. I recently went zip lining and really enjoyed myself.

I love how collaborative and open DriveTime is. Every project utilizes the skills of every member of the team. It’s clear that it’s through the individual strengths of each member working together that a project reaches its full potential. I get to work with a marketing team that is constantly brainstorming how to improve all aspects of the car purchasing process. Being included in those conversations and contributing each day has already grown my understanding of the business immensely!

Outside of work you can find me in a hammock reading and listening to music. I like concerts, taking pictures, hiking and exploring.

DriveTime’s culture encourages you to grow and challenge yourself. I started as an Intern in HR almost five years ago. I never would have expected that someday I’d be analyzing IT software solutions—but here I am, loving it! Amazing mentors have supported me in each direction my career has taken here and I’m lucky to have a group of colleagues that feels like family. I am passionate about what I do. It’s a bonus to work with such vibrant, fun, brilliant people every day.

I venture outdoors in my free time to take advantage of all this sunshine. I like to go hiking, running and road triping on long weekends. Baseball games out here are a must for me too. Cooking and sketching are my creative outlets of choice. I also hang out with my wonderful, fluffy German Shepherd mix whenever I can.

I love working for DriveTime because we promote innovation by leveraging a vast network of employees who truly love what they do every day. Our people have a passion for the industry and are not afraid to challenge the status quo.

Outside of work I enjoy traveling, hiking, working out, cooking, trying new restaurants, listening to and attending live music events.

The choice of coming to work for Drivetime was any easy one for me. The company believes in a work life balance which allows me the time away to be with my family and heavily involved with my children’s activities . When I am at work Drivetime is always changing to stay in front of an ever changing market which continues to place challenges in front of me. I love the fact that this company has given me the opportunity to grow within the organization and that they are strong believers in promoting form within.

I love to spend time with my family in the outdoors in my free time. I am a proud father of two girls who are part of their schools archery program and I enjoy practicing archery with them. My family also enjoys going to different fishing lakes and trying to catch anything we can get to bite.

The best part about working for Drivetime is the people. We only hire energetic, motivated, good natured people who are interested in helping each other and our community. The people make this company what it is, and the culture within is what keeps the engine moving forward and keeps DriveTime leaders within our industry. It’s great to work at a place where employee retention is a major focus and you can see people that have been here for over 10 years.

Outside of work I enjoy music. I enjoy producing music as well as listening and collecting music. I own over 5000 pieces of vinyl and so many cds it would take a full day to count. Of course in this new age of technology I just had to upgrade to a 3 tetrabyte hard drive to hold more music. A fun day for me outside of work includes going into the studio with new artists and assisting in the creation of new music. I also enjoy assisting in getting the music from the studio to the radio.

What I enjoy most about DriveTime is the fun and welcoming culture they have to offer. Every day you are greeted by co-workers with a welcoming presence making it extremely enjoyable to come to work. My departments managers are incredible and extremely helpful if any questions do arise along the way. DriveTime’s internship program is a hands-on experience that will benefit anyone greatly as they further their knowledge and career.

Outside of work I enjoy exercising, hiking, and going to the lake. Anything that involves sports or high energy activities is something I really like to be involved in. I also enjoy hanging out with friends and meeting new people whenever I have the opportunity.

This is the most collaborative and fluid environment I’ve ever worked in. DriveTime is always evolving its applications and systems which gives me an opportunity to evolve with it. I like that every day is different and that our leadership has my back and listens to what I have to say. I go home knowing that I’ve accomplished great things and that what I do makes a difference. I get to be part of a huge family that knows how to have a blast and get things done.

When I’m not working I am either in the studio writing and recording music or studying Japanese. Music is where I get to celebrate my love for videogames, languages, and pop culture all at once. Being on stage is exhilarating and it’s fun to connect with people who appreciate my work. I’ve toured around the country and have also recorded television/radio ad spots for McDonalds.

All employees are given access to the resources they need to succeed. With an open door atmosphere, decisions are made by a group approach in which everyone’s opinions are valued.

Outside of work I like to remain active with my social circles, in the gym, play video games and spend time with family. The more time spent out in the Arizona sun hiking or in the pool, the better.

I love the fact that I am able to provide relief and a solution for consumers who need a vehicle. There is nothing like putting a smile on someone's face by providing reliable transportation for their families. It is rewarding to be able to help people while having a great time doing it!

When I am not working I enjoy quality time with my family, relaxing at the beach, hitting the gym and traveling.

The individuals that I work with on a daily basis make the job even more enjoyable with the amount of passion and intellectual ability they bring into the office every day. When I am not working I enjoy playing basketball, snowboarding, hiking and lifting. Also, I love modeling, dancing, trying out new restaurants and helping others. My goal is to impact as many people in my life as possible and be the best version of myself.
