Team Lead, Indirect Funding (DOPS)

We are looking for a result-driven team leader to be responsible for monitoring and supervising a team of consultants to achieve the organization’s objectives and increase volume. You will be responsible for providing guidance, instruction, training, and leadership skills to inspire the team to perform at their optimum. You should create a cohesive team that works efficiently together to maximize the volume team's potential.

Ultimately, a top-notch team leader should display excellent interpersonal skills to build quality relationships with the team and with customers, be goal-driven, and manage the day-to-day activities of the team efficiently.

The Specifics.

  • Handle Escalated Calls: Effectively manage and resolve escalated customer inquiries.
  • Conduct QA Reviews: Evaluate processes including Ready to Fund, Return Reviews, Manager Call Back Requests, and Manager Reviews.
  • Assist in Team Chat: Provide guidance to agents on processes and procedures in real-time.
  • Perform Monthly Compliance Reviews: Review documentation for Gap Products, address discrepancies, and assess pre-contract disclosures.
  • Facilitate New Hire Training: Support onboarding and certification for new team members (Certification required).
  • Manage DM Escalation Chats: Address escalated issues from the decision-making team.
  • Reintegrate Deals: Work to bring deals back in-house efficiently.
  • Submit and Follow Up on Requests: Handle tech, pricing, Level 5, observations, and escalation requests.
  • Review Aged Deals: Analyze and resolve outstanding deal issues.
  • Recap Team Meetings: Summarize key takeaways and action items for the team.
  • Knowledge of Underwriting or Auto Finance: Possess expertise in underwriting processes or auto financing.

Nice to Haves.

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required educational background.
  • Proficient Computer Skills: Strong knowledge of internet and standard business applications, such as Microsoft Office; ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Familiarity with Underwriting or Auto Finance: Additional knowledge in these areas is advantageous.
  • Prior Experience in Procedural Development: Preferred experience in developing and improving processes.
