In short, you will play a key role in designing, building, and supporting innovative software solutions that drive business success. As a Software Engineer, you will work on business-critical initiatives, collaborate closely with product and business stakeholders, leverage cutting-edge technologies including generative AI tools, and help deliver scalable, high-quality applications that support strategic decision-making across the organization.
In Long, as the Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:
  • Partnering with business and product stakeholders to gather requirements and design, develop, test, debug, document, and support software applications
  • Leveraging generative AI-assisted development tools to accelerate research, coding, debugging, documentation, and testing while maintaining high standards of code quality
  • Supporting integration efforts across APIs, data sources, and external systems to ensure seamless, secure, and scalable application connectivity
  • Designing and developing robust software solutions that support business-critical initiatives
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams in an environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement
  • Contributing to the development of scalable distributed systems and modern web applications
  • Developing and maintaining front-end and back-end application components
  • Writing and maintaining unit tests to ensure software quality and reliability
  • Staying current on emerging software development technologies, architectures, design patterns, and generative AI advancements
  • Communicating technical concepts, project status, and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

The Specifics.

  • 3+ years experience in software, web, or application development
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with backend development frameworks such as Spring Boot, FastAPI, Gin/Fiber, or similar technologies
  • Experience with C# and .NET development preferred
  • Experience developing and consuming APIs, including RESTful services, .NET Web API, MassTransit, and Async API
  • Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue
  • Experience with client-side SPA development
  • Experience developing unit tests
  • Experience deploying and supporting applications in cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Experience integrating applications with LLMs such as OpenAI using SDKs or frameworks including Semantic Kernel, LangChain, Foundry, or similar technologies
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript

Nice to Have

  • Experience building and supporting distributed systems at scale
  • Exposure to modern AI-assisted software development practices
  • Experience working in agile development environments
  • Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and microservices design patterns
