Reverse Logistics Specialist

The Reverse Logistics Specialist will serve as a contact for DriveTime reverse logistic inventory related to retail and wholesale grade units purchased through auction channels.

The Reverse Logistics Specialist will coordinate with multiple department leads to gather information, submit and track arbitrations and communicate with auctions in regards to reverse logistics inventory. 

  • Initiate, manage, track, and process reverse logistic inventory.
  • Mediate and negotiate repair and/or pricing of disputed vehicles to arrive at a mutually agreed upon solution.
  • Hold auctions accountable in adhering to NAAA guidelines. 
  • Work cross functionally across various departments.
  • Manage arbitration and mediation cases; ensures information is entered and maintained in an online case management system; utilizes discretion and independent judgment by applying high-level knowledge and understanding of the DriveTime Family of Brand's rules and procedures on assigned cases.
  • Resolves case-related issues; escalates matters to management as appropriate.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to talk and write with confidence, charisma and competence for a wide variety of audiences including management.
  • A mind for the details.  Okay we know “detail-oriented” is on about every job description – but we really mean it! 

The Specifics.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business-related discipline.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to utilize databases/systems to review and verify documentation and information
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as legal documents and business correspondence
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
