DriveTime Needs a Senior Data Analyst, Risk Analytics

That’s Nice, But What’s the Job?

In short, as a Senior Data Analyst, Risk Analytics, you will apply your analytical and technical skills as you initiate, build, and develop solutions to our most interesting data analytics problems.

In long, our Senior Data Analysts are responsible for:

  • Leveraging emerging technologies and critical thinking skills to continually innovate and automate existing methodologies, processes, and reporting.

  • Design, develop, test, and implement new products and solutions.

  • Extensive attention to detail in executing and documenting systemic changes

  • Assist in documentation, implementation, and monitoring of pricing strategies

  • Identifying areas of systemic improvement to current pricing infrastructure that requires a high combination of business knowledge and coding skill

  • Cross-functional collaboration within risk team to better connect tools and resources used across the team

  • Partnering with BI/data engineering to ensure that we continue to maintain a high-quality and easy to use data environment

The Specifics. 

  • Bachelor's (with relevant experience) or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as engineering, finance, statistics, mathematics, computer science, economics, or hard science.

  • 2+ years’ experience coding or data analysis in SQL, snowflake, and/or python

  • Ability to create stored procedures with high accuracy and efficiency

  • Ability to manage multiple projects

Nice to Haves. 

  • Experience with machine learning, predictive models, and statistical techniques
