DriveTime Needs a Senior Analyst of Fraud Analytics

That’s Nice, But What’s the Job?

The Senior Analyst of Fraud Analytics will be responsible for helping to build a best-in-class fraud prevention solution that integrates third party products, dynamic customer flow decisioning logic, and risk segmentation strategies. You will be a key player within the Risk Management team, collaborating with and presenting strategic recommendations to executive leaders.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, testing, and implementing business strategies to minimize fraud risk while delivering a streamlined, automated car-buying process for our customers.

  • Partnering closely with colleagues throughout the business including Data Science, Product Management, Digital Lending, Retail, and Lending Operations to implement effective cross-functional solutions.

  • Constructing in-depth quantitative analysis by processing, manipulating, and studying large datasets.

  • Effectively communicating analytical findings with colleagues and senior leaders using concise insights and visualizations to drive action.

  • Leveraging emerging technologies and critical thinking skills to continually innovate and automate existing methodologies, processes, and reporting.

  • Mentoring junior analysts and taking increased responsibilities for stakeholder management.

The Specifics.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in quantitative field such as economics, engineering, finance, math, or statistics.

  • 2+ years of experience in strategic analytics, consulting, or finance.

  • 1+ years of experience with SQL, Snowflake, Python or related coding languages.

  • Experience conducting A/B testing and experimental design.

  • Exceptional problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.

  • Advanced Excel skills.
