That’s Nice, But What’s the Job?
In short, as a Process Control Coordinator- Retail you will partner with our retail operations teams across the nation and perform testing and monitoring to determine potential compliance risk and process improvements for our retail locations. You will partner with multiple internal departments to make improve policies and procedures. You will also complete research for operations-related processes, state guidelines, internal procedure changes, and any other items deemed necessary. Bottom line, this role will help make our company even better!
In long, our Process Control Coordinators are responsible for collaborating with DriveTime Dealerships, our internal departments (i.e. legal, compliance, finance, accounting, retail, etc.) and outside agencies. The qualifying candidate must enjoy helping people, problem solving, and have the ability to maintain personal composure when confronted with a difficult situation. They must be goal-oriented, enthusiastic, energetic, self-disciplined and have strong oral and written communication skills.
- Provide support to retail stores on any operations related questions
- Plan and perform process reviews
- Research state specific regulations
- Test or monitor dealership related operations
- Create and lead operations related trainings
- Problem solve process concerns with retail leadership
- Develop and manage documentation using Excel, Word, & Highbond
- Analyze and/or create reporting to determine support opportunities

- Works well in a time crunch. There will be multiple time sensitive requirements and you’ll need the ability to meet deliverable due dates.

- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or 1-3 years of applicable experience
- Experience or knowledge with DMV regulations, dealership operations, or automotive titles. Compliance or process improvement experience is helpful but not required.
- Analytical mindset and ability to interpret data and information. Excel, SQL, Highbond, or Tableau experience preferred.
- Attention to detail and follow through is essential
- Team player; ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
- Must be adaptable, show initiative and embrace special projects
- Willingness to cross train and partner with lead on professional development
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Any equivalent combination of training and/or experience that fulfill the requirements of the position will be considered
