That’s Nice, But What’s the Job?

In short, as the Impound Coordinator, you document impound notices and communicate with impound lots. 

In long, you will: 

  • Ensure impound notices received are properly notated in the system.
  • Route all impounded accounts to proper collection queues.
  • Document information about location of vehicles, reason for impound, and total fees due to secure vehicles in the system.
  • Complete state-specific impound packets to secure vehicles from impound yards
  • Assign accounts to recovery agents for repossession if vehicle was determined to be worth repossessing.
  • Document accounts when vehicles are repossessed and routes accounts to remarketing department.
  • Document and routes accounts to abandon ques if the vehicle was determined not to be worth repossession.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

The Specifics.

  • High School or GED required
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • In Office- 6am to 3pm Schedule (no Saturdays)

Nice to Haves.

  • Collections experience is preferred.
