Job Overview

DriveTime’s Real Estate Intern will get exposure to all facets of the Real Estate Department which currently manages 138 DriveTime Dealerships in 26 states and opens +/- 5 new dealerships per year.  


The Real Estate intern will assist the Project Mangers in coordinating the activities of a construction project to ensure cost, schedule and document control are met. The Real Estate intern will also help the Property Management team handle the flow of real estate related invoices and facility maintenance requests. The Real Estate Intern will also get the opportunity to help with site selection and market analysis for the Acquisition team.

A Day in the Life of a Real Estate Intern

  • Document control – Manages the hard and electronic files for construction projects.
  • Invoice processing – Verifies, codes and processes.
  • Cost Reporting – Tracks project costs from bid to completion, reports results to the department.
  • Document generation and editing – Assist the department in the generation of real estate documents
  • New store development– Assist Project Managers in due diligence materials pertaining to a new location.
  • Financial Analysis - Assist with the financial analysis and presentation of potential acquisition/dispositions deal structures to management team.
