A Day in the Life of a HR Intern

A Snapshot of What You Will Do!


The Human Resources Intern will have an exciting opportunity to work in the multiple departments that make up the Employee Experience team including Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Talent Support and Organizational Development.


You will:

  • Learn about the organization’s wellness strategy and be a part of developing communication plan for the summer programs
  • Partner with benefits team to organize new employee orientation
  • Administer surveys and provide analytics on employee engagement data
  • Partner with talent acquisition to ensure successful social media strategy as part of the talent attraction toolkit
  • Work side-by-side with the Talent Support Team to learn the performance management process and complete data analytics on turnover associated with performance measures
  • Create tools in partnership with organizational development to support the learning management process


If You Are…..


  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Excited about the opportunity to learn more about human resources and organizational leadership
  • Available to work 35 hours per week
  • Academically strong credentials (minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • Effective as part of a team; ability to interact with internal and external customers, managers and coworkers in a professional, courteous manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
