The position will be responsible for the administration of our benefits plans including billing, enrollment, auditing, and eligibility reporting functions. They will also be the primary contact for benefits questions and issues for all employees. There will be on-going special projects, such as new vendor implementation, open enrollment, wellness initiatives, etc. Will be the primary contact for the leave of absence program. Will maintain the benefits HRIS function to include all reporting functions. This position will provide a competitive compensation package.

  • Supervisor team of two Benefits Coordinators, demonstrate leadership in all areas of the benefits process, including support to the Benefits Coordinators and resolving escalated issues.
  • Provide excellent customer service by efficiently resolving benefit problems with vendor(s) and/or HR Department by working directly with employees and their healthcare providers, when appropriate.
  • Manages all reporting related to benefits.
  • Develops, generates and follows up on all eligibility reports and process, including maintenance and regular auditing of enrollment data; including the 401(k) contribution file.
  • Sends notification to new hires for a variety of audits when necessary
  • Develops , distributes and maintains special report requests related to special projects and new programs
  • Responsible for the Leave Program to include all communication and reporting
  • Group presentations of benefits information.

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Supervisory experience strongly preferred
  • Requires minimum 2-4 years benefits administration experience, specifically medical, dental, Flexible Spending, 401k, and other employer provided benefits
  • Requires minimum 2-4 years leave of absence administration (ADA & FMLA)
  • Supporting a 5,000-6,000 employee population
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft programs with proficiency Excel; with the ability to create reports from raw data using multiple program functions
  • Effective as part of a team; ability to interact with internal and external customers, managers and coworkers in a professional, courteous manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Winston Benefits/UltiPro/Presagia systems experience strongly preferred
